Philadelphia Partnership Prayer Initiative and Luncheon March 2, 2015
Partnership
The TBBA has partnered with SEND Philadelphia to assist them in planting churches in that area of the country. Come and here about how your church can pray for, serve, and share the gospel through new church plants in one of the 175 neighborhoods in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, or south New Jersey.
Prayer
We will start and focus on prayer. Because we have about 170 churches in our association I am praying that we can adopt the 175 neighborhoods and begin to pray specifically for them as indicated on the SEND Philadelphia website. Churches will be encouraged to pray according to the 4-5-1 Initiative:
- four days a week
- five minutes per day
- one neighborhood
Support
In addition to prayer, churches can build ongoing relationships with church planters and begin to support them through notes, gift cards, meeting practical needs, sending teams to complete short-term mission projects, and more.
